The Belgian is reported ly consid er in g riding at leas t some of th e round s, and would likely comp ete on the same team as Swede jorgen Nilsson, aboard an HRC Honda. Former World Champion Eric Geboers will reportedly manage a team that will include Frenchman Yves DeMari a and one other yet-to-be-named rider. DeMaria will ride a full-factory Honda on the 250ccWorld Championship MX circuit. Du tchman Pedro Tragter will remain on Kees Van der Veri's Chesterfield-backed 125cc GP team to defend his world title, and will again ride Suzukis. Va n d er Ven is not allowed to sign any rid er s under the age of 18 because his team is sponsored by a tobacco company. American MXe r Ta llon Voh land is planning to rid e the 250cc GPs on the Italian Becchis Honda team, with HRCkitted Hondas, like those used this yea r by Ku rt Niccoli on the Castrol team . A six-race San Jose (Californ ia) Enduro-thon series starts on November 21 at the San Jose Mile with three, twohour races for eithe r Ironman or twoman teams . Joe Bruce plans on defending his ' 92- '9 3 title in a qu est fo r a The Guinness Book of World Records re cen tly recognized Er ic and Gail Haws , from Eugene, Oreg on , for their t ri p across Ru ssia by mo torcycle. According to Gu in ness , they are the only peo ple to ha ve traveled by motorcycle from Magadan , Siberia, to Helsinki, Finland.
