next lap as he was enjoying a sizable lead over
N icho ls, who himself had pu lled away from
Cu rrie and Lester. The battle for th ird we nt on
all the way to the checker ed flag w ith Cu rrie
fendi ng o ff Les te r 's charges ri ght u p to the
checkered. When the results were posted it was
Turne r with the w in, Currie clai med seco n d
ahead of Wa rner, wh o fin ished fifth in moto two
after his first moto win , Lester and Nicho ls.
Mango ld return ed to make h is prese nc e
known in the 25+ Novice class by winning both
motos in front of Larry Baker and Nic laBella.
The 30+ class was do minated by Ca rlos Joh nson
w ith Dan McClintock and Pete And rew s breaking into the top three slots.
