durin g the Black Hills Classic Rally. The lead
between Ram sey's 1400cc H-D Spors te r a nd
Meyer 's 890cc Yam aha changed o ften and had

which saw the Ramsey w in.

Territorial Raceway in Euge n e wa s h ost to

National MX Championship. With 130 rid ers
still in the hunt for the titles these rounds gave
wa y to gruelling battles in almost every class on
Sa tu rday and Sunday. Sta rting off Satu rday's
fury was the 250cc Pro class . Ty Birdwell an d
Ryan Ha gema n pu t o n a s how ai good as if
there had been a who le gate of Pros. Hagema n
bolt ed out of th e gate to an ea rly lead with
Birdwell bi ting at his heels for half the mota.
Bir dw e ll was fina ll y ab le to sq u eeze by
Hageman who bailed hard tryin g to retak e the
lead.
Moto two was an easy wi n for Bird well as
Hageman was no-show because of his pre vious
motocrash.
Next up came the 125cc Interm edi ate class.
Jason Mathews ran mot o on e wi re to wi re for
t he w in , leaving Brad Br u n kal a nd Jon
Kau Hm a n ea ti ng h is du s t. Brun kal and
Ka uff ma n wage d thei r own war for sec o nd.

took the lead from Brunkal ,md the overall win
for the day . Kauffman wa s un abl e to catch
Brun kal and had to set tle for third .

The bes t racing of the day came in moto two

with no inten tions of letting an yone pass him . In
the Senior di vision Walkoski got a much better
sta rt, ha d the sa me idea , and the race was on .
The two riders screamed around the rdce track
fighting tooth and nail to be the first one to the
finish flag. and qui ckly left the rest of the pack
