Lake Perris Speedway Thursday night as he captu red a red nag-ma rred Ha ndicap main. It

Scott/ Dirt Squirt-backed GM got sett led in to the
lead a red flag would fly. There were so many
delays the riders rod to refuel. Nicol wanted Ihe
win big time and he rose to the occasio n, holding off Bobby Hedden, who was riding Bren t
Werne r's bike. Hedden ra n into bike trouble on
'one of the resta rts and Werne r, knowi ng he was
o u t 'o f co ntention, gave h is b ike to Hedden
which allowed him to finish seco nd . John Ad en
was th ird .
Ga ry Hicks is ma ki ng a habit of wi n n ing
here la tely. Once aga in he got the p ole on the
luck of the draw, go t a great ga te and all that
was I~ft was to determ ine who was going to be
second . Tha t honor fell to Bobby Swartz wi th
Mike Faria third.
The Sidecar main was a real cliffhanger.
Peter Lewis and Jamie Macy won the drag race
to the first tum and looked like they were going
to take it all bu t Dale Leeder and Ross Millar on
the Larry Jacin to /ITT Financial/Norm's
