Roberti storms to Portland
Road Race win

Yamaha FZR400, and Eric Timberlake, on a
Yamaha 920 Virag<>-powered Kawasaki ZX10,
going neck and neck into tum one, when Heale
passed and began pulling away &om the field.
But on lap four, while enjoying a sizeable lead,
Heale went off the track in tum seven and handed the lead over to Ward Rodgers, rid ing an
ultra-fast Kawasaki 750 triple. With Rodgers trying to pull away, Rich Schuerman and Kevin
Normet were dicing for second place. While the
two were closing on Rodgers on lap nine,
Normet pulled right up on Rodgenl rear wheel,
ready to make a move. When the white flag
came out, Normet made his move in tum two
and began pulling away to take the win on the
last lap on his Yamaha FZR400.

Andy Howell recorded back-to-back moto wins
to score the overall win in the 80cc Senior class
at T 'N' T Motocross Park. Second place went to
Daniel Boze.
Howell grabbed the hoieshot in the first
BOcc Senior moto and never looked back to
score the win. Soze finished second, while
Jeffrey Yates was able to keep his Yamaha
ahead of Crystal Johnson and Tommy
Crownover for third.
In the second molo, Howell crashed off the
JUely (Kaw).
