Karl Lindstrom inherited the lead, with Dickson all over him looking for a way into the lead. Persistance paid off for Dickson, as he assumed the lead, only to have his front end "lash out a few turns later, causing him to fall and drop back to second again. Karl Lindstrom was able to build a small lead over the recovering Dickson, which i)e held to the finish. Erik Lindstrom rounded out the top ~, finishing ahead of Greg Atkinson.
