Pardon the accents,
but Suzuki just had a fabulous weekend getaway,
dominating races in both hemispheres.
down
u n d e r, in the land of koalas and kangaroos,
another animal outran the packat the Australian Grand Prix.
That's right, Kevin Schwantz opened up the season faster than a
speeding dingo, scoring his 20th career victory in the 500cc
class. And his 20th victory on a Suzuki. Throw another
Yamaha on the barbie, mate.

south
in Alabama, home of the Crimson TIde, Kurt Hall and
Chuck Graves rode a monster wave that was unmistakably
Suzuki Blue. It hit the WERA National Endurance Series
in Talledega and swept away all its competitors.
By the way, at the risk of rubbing even more sea salt
into the competition's wounds, it was Team Suzuki's
85th victory.
The next-best team has a not-even·dose 30 wins. YEE-HAHI
We should mention that Kurt also competed in the WERA Superstock
sprints, in the 600,750 and 1100 c1gsses. All on
GSX-Rs.
Guess what the results were. Good guess.
let's see, that makes it 5 for five. All in all, a perfect weekend.
Well, that wraps up this edition of Around the World on a Suzuki. Join us next time as we invade another of the seven continents.
Maybe Asia. Or Europe. Sacre
