The competitors all ride Yamaha YSRSOs. In the Amateur Stock class, Hopkins rode flawlessly in the eight-lap race to score the win over Ron West and Nick Waters. In the Amateur Modified class, Jeremy. Hutchinson and Sherri Lyons were first off the line, followed by Ray Ossenkop. Hutchinson pulled away, leaving Lyons and Ossenkop to do battle. On lap three, the rain started coming down, creating a very slippery track which caused three riders to crash in tum one. On lap four, Hutchinson went down because of the slippery conditions, and Lyons stalled her bike in tum one while trying to avoid a downed rider. This put Ossenkop in the lead, with Hopkins hot on his heels. Ossenkop and Hopkins managed to stay upright with Ossenkop taking the checkered first, followed by Hopkins and Nick Waters.
