The concrete short track races were part of Motor Sports of America-promoted Motor Sport NationaJs and Monster Truck Races. On Saturday night, Hoffmeister pulled the holeshot off the line with Camel Pro Rider David Hebb second at the first comer. Last year's winner Corey Brink came off the back row and was in fourth place on the first comer. With two laps remaining, Brink took the lead on the back straightaway, but a mishap pushed him towards the back of the pack. Brink was borrowing a Harley Davidson from Dale Jenneman, who was unable to race due to a broken collarbone. jenneman had taken his bike out for the practice laps, but didn't feel safe. Hoffmeister and Hebb remained dose the entire race, with Hoffmeister eventually taking the win. Sunday afternoon, Brink found what he was looking for, taking the holeshot from the pole and ran away with it. Other than some traffic in the eighth lap, the race remained fairly consistent. Brink took the win by half of a lap. Honda rider Wes Beckman maintained second place, with Tony Kohner following him across the line in third. Results OPEN rROSAT: 1.
