John Zahrt (30]) and Rod Richardson
(185) battled in the Vet Int . class.
In the first moto, Lance Johnson
timed the gate perfectly and grabbed the
holeshot ahead of Anderson and Todd
Mitchell. Johnson held on to the lead for
a few laps before tiring and allowing
Anderson past.
"T raced yesterday and my arms are
gone," said Johnson, a former pro. "1
haven't raced regularly in over two
years."
Once in the lead, Anderson was
untouchable and smoked away with the
win. The next rider to challenge Johnson
was Ty Kady. Kady blew past and went
on to finish second. Johnson held on to
third.
Anderson grabbed the point position
from the get-go in moto two and fended
off all charges. Kady again finished second, while Kevin Geyer nabbed third. c:N
