Barton, on the other hand, combined 4-1 moto finishes to earn the overall win in the 250cc Pro class. Tim Ferry, Mike Treadwell and Fred Andrews led Barton home in the opening contest, but Barton raged back in the second moto and posted a convincing win. At the start of the first 125cc Pro moto, Damien Plotts had the fastest clutch hand and led Jim Neese, Kenny Yoho, Joel Dengler and Anthony Paggio. Ferry and Curry suffered poor starts, and scrambled to work their way through the pack. Neese took over the lead on the second lap and enjoyed it unlillap eight. Curry notched the moto win aboard his TUF Racing/Kawasaki Team Green/Dunlop/Scott/Renthal-backed Kawasaki, just ahead of Treadwell. Scott Sheak, Plotts and Chad Pederson rounded out the top five. "I used the rougher, but tighter lines to make up time,"
