MAY 22 Dallan Co u lter put o n a show in th e 250cc Begi n ner cla ss with a pair o f runaw ay wins a t the California RacingClub 's n igh t racin g program , held a t Los An gel es County Raceway. ' Coulter loo k it wire-to -wire in lhe opening moto. Matt Simanski got a lOp-three starr and ran with the lead ers early in th e mo lO, bUl fad ed to an eventu a l fifth behind R yan Pursley, Dan Cleveland and Mike Pichell e. The second mo lO saw Coulter perform a repeat of moto one, and disp la yed h is dominance by putting near ly 30 seconds o n th e nearest com pe tito r. Cleveland moved up from a mid-pack stan lO finish second, while Si ma nski rod e mu ch stro n ger for third.
