Little brother Nicky raced the dirt tracks Iasl

the pavement with his big brother.
Nicky turned 12 th is year a nd by WERA

At Indiana po lis, N icky pu lled a big surprise

is reall y just warm-up for these guys. Their
little Mota-Libeny spo nsored Honda RSI25s
are no mat ch for th e various 250cc GP bik es
in the class. The real war would come in
Formula Clubman.
The month before at Indianapolis the
Hayd en brothers battled with th e T apscott

This time Tommy had an ace up his sleeve.
The l-t-vear-o ld went much deeper into th e

The late bra king seemed 10 rattle little Nicky.
He hurriedly let off his brakes and bravely
pi tched h is little Honda into the turn at leasl
five miles pe r hour faster th an he ever had
before.
It was too late, ho wever , the elder Hayden
had j us t shown lit tle brother a new trick and
reven ge was his .
After the race the Hayden pit was a ll sm iles.
Fellow racers were co ming by to co ngratula te
