Tirheirn er was on th e pipe at th e sta rt of both 125cc Pro m O lDS , as he roosted into the lead at eac h dro p of th e gale, In th e firs t goro und, he held off an ear ly charge by Steve Nelson and th en held o n for the win over Scooter McElro y. McEl ro y closed in a little la te in th e mo ta b ut ha d a la ugh time ge tting by Nelson. T ir heimer had opened u p a lead which he was able to m a inta i n to the ch eckered. T ony McG ralh followed in at third with Nelso n cro ssing the fini sh in four th . Tirhe imer again set the pace a t the start of moto two , bu t McElroy had a bet ter start this time out and was hal on h is trail , McElroy made a co u p le of daring efforts to pass bu t Tir hei me r wa s ab le to resist hi s challenges. By th e seco nd half of the race Tirheimer was aga in pulling away as McElroy had '0 back off the pac e a litt le alter blasting past a co u p le of ber ms. Tirheim er too k the win for th e overa ll wh ile McEl ro y sett led for another second and secon d o vera ll. Brian Wilso n came back after first mal o pr obl ems kept him o ut of the hunt to claim third, while Nelson scored an other fourth for third overa ll. McG ra th finished fifth for fourth overall . T irheim er loo ked tough in 'he 250cc Pro class, but a couple of m istak es a nd th e speed of Aron Martin prevented him from claiming that class.
