Dade City Motocross to Wagner

The th ird round of the WorldSpo rts Florida
Gold Cup Series made its way to Dade City
Raceway, as mo re tha n 400 riders turned out
for lh e day's racing, David Wagn er scored the
overall wi n in lh ecombined Pl us-25 BI C ciass,
wh ich produced some of the best raci ng acti on
of the day.
In the first moto, Mitchel H olstein gra bbed
the holeshot ahead of Wyn Kern, Carl Davis,
SIeve Slojack a nd Da vid McP hersin. For the
nexl couple of laps, the top five riders uaded
plattS nu merous ti mes, bu t it wasn 't until late
In lhe race when leader Hoislein fell and
dropped 10 fourth, handing Kern the reigns.
Once in the lead , Kern roo sted away for the
win, while Wagn er pa ssed McPhersin on .the
last lap for lhe ru nner -u p positi on. Hol slein
and Stojack ro unded ou l lh e lOp five.

second molO, with Curtis Smart. Tim Lozaw.

Wh ile Swanson con uolled the race up fron!,
Wagner a nd Hoislein wor ked their way into
third and fourth, respectively. Once in third,
Wagner challen ged Sman for second and
eventually oUl-ju mped Smarl for the run ner up position.
Wh ile the majority of the pack was baul ing
for positions, Swan son cru ised all alone oul
in fro nt, even tually cross ing the finish lin e
with roo m 10 spa re. Wagner landed second
and scored the overa ll win , with Smart third.
Hoislein fourth and Tony Gallardy, who
passed Lozaw on the last lap, F
