And that's wher e I had th e o p po rt u n i ty to see a few of m y favo ri te mo to cross stars, name ly Ken t H owerton and Mark Barnett. They were both racing i n the Plus 30 Masters class a nd, although I had no cha nce of winni ng, it was a thrill to line up next to them a t the start line. After the races I wen t o ver to talk to them and was amazed at how fri end ly and how much tim e th ey spe n t ta lk ing to me. The sport of motocross can be proud to have cham p io ns like these two, and I h o pe a lo t mo re for mer stars start raci ng aga in in these Masters races. I th o u gh t I wou ld never get th e cha nce to see these guys race again, but I did. And I ca n tell you they hav en't lost any of th e speed th at mad e th em ch ampion s.
