Hoe nk powered to the fro nt in . the firs t

a pace that kept H oenk in sight, but did not
push him in the ear ly pa rt of th e race. At
th e ha lfway ma rk he closed in and bega n to
pressure the leader. Hoenk tried to gai n some
time by taking th e big triple j um p on the back
side of the co urse. Hoen k clea red the j um p ,
only to overshoo t the nex t co m er. Clark made
th e pass whi le Hoenk re-en tered the track a

overshot the foll ow ing corner and slid o ut.
Clark scored the victory. Parenteau and J endro

In the highly competitive 25 Plus class,
Ch ris H ughes jumped o rr the li ne lo hold an
early lead in mo lO o ne. Brad Erickson and
Alan Stevenso n gave chase in second and

rider on th e trac k, as he moved through traffi c
after a poor sta rt and in to second. Hugh es
went do wn and H un t was o rr to take th e
chec ke red two la ps lat er . Ste venson a nd
Erickson also got by, wh ile Hugh es resta rted
hi s bik e in tim e to retain fou rt h ahead of
