A chicken barbeque will be held on the big island at Laguna Seca International Raceway in Monterey, California, on Friday, April 19 in conjunction with the United States Grand Prix. The barbeque will take place between 5:00 and 7:30 p.m. at a cost of $10 per Person with all proceeds benefiting Children's Services. Movies will also be shown at the race track on Friday and Saturday nights in a tent at the Trylon area (where the Budweiser Scoreboard is located). There will be no admission charge for the movies. Various restaurants and bars along the world famous Cannery Row i n Monterey will be ' offering special prices on food and drinks from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night, April 20 in honor of the Grand Prix. Motorcyclist magazine will host free seminars at Laguna Seca on Saturday , April 20. Topics include suspension setup; performance tires, street survival, performance riding techniques, and helmets. The seminars begin at 10:00 a.m. and run through 3:30 p .m, in a tent on Barbeque Island. An autograph signing party will take place prior to the United States Grand Prix at Laguna Seca on Thursday , April 18, from 5:00-6:30 p .rn, at the Sheraton Hotel i n Monterey, California.
