Mike Nutter (249) and Brian Justice (31) avoided a first-tum crash in the 250 B class at Hidden Acres MX. Nutter sco r ed the win and Justice finished fou rth. among the top-three fin ishers. .fhe eveni ng's intermission featu red a ra mp- to-ramp jump over 15 cars, which was rrformed by non e o ther than Suppes hi msd . The Pro main event featured a wide variety o f equipment and riders. Among the co mperitors was desert racer Jd[ Dar la nd. who co mpe ted aboard a Honda CR500, bUI the winning co mbination was that of Roose and his Knight Frames-sponsored Ro tax. Knight Frames, formerl y o f California, has relocated to Roose 's home town o f Bellingham. Dan McConnell sto le the holeshot at the start o f th e main. wh ile Roose was stuc k back in lilth pl ace. Roose quickly motored into second p lace and bezan to stalk McConnell. McConnell appeared 10 be having trouble with tum two. and Roo se wai ted for an o pe ning. Roo se swoo ped past as they exi ted . turn IwOa nd cruised to the win .
