In mota two Derek Ge ist worked his way from fou rth 10 seco nd in th e first th ree la ps, while Van Sickle a nd Mychajlin settled into third and fourth places, respectively. The last lap was fatal for Gei st, as he went down in a curve, letting Mychajlin by for second. Behind Engstler, who had led from start to finish. Robert Carlin dominated th e first moto in the 250cc Intermediate class, while Joe Marizano passed John Irnbriale 10 secure second place. Cisco shot by Imbriale through the whoops on the fifth lap but overshot th e following berm, and Imbriale cruised back in to third place. Persistence paid off o n th e seven th la p , as Cisco go t around Imbriale and claimed third place. In the second moto, Cisco walked off with the lead , while Alvin Yellowhair and Carlin traded several passes before Carlin emerged in second place. Yellowhair appeared 10 have third place wrapped up, but as they disappeare<1 over the hill it was Manzano who , reappeared in third, . MOIO on e of the 250cc Beginner class saw Alan Vinlette grab an early lead ahead of Co ry Gregoire and Sahne Davis . Gregoire tried to take the lead, but Vinlette rode a flawless race. Vinlette grabbed the early lead in molo two, wilh Derek Robinette in low . On .lap three Ninleue had the lead as the riders disappeared over lhe hill, but when they resurfaced il was ,Robinette leading the pa ck.
