A special salute is being planned for two-time Supercross and five-time MX National Champion Rick Johnson at th e February 9 San Diego Supercross. The 26-year-old, originally from nearby EI Cajon, intends to retire at the end of the '91 MX season. Johnson has scored three supercross victories in San Diego, more than any other rider; and he 's also the winningest rider in supercross history with 28 main event victories.
