The 250cc Intermediate banle ' was a cliff
hanger as Brandes passed Hummel just before
th e white nag in mor o one and th en pulled
off when he thought th e white had black :
squares on it. Hummel went aro und o ne more
time for the win while Brades re-entered the
race a nd salv aged seco nd.
