Newman hasn' t raced in several years and his
fam ily o wn ed MOlOrcycle Ra ceways u ntil
about two or three years ago.
H o mer Woolslayer took the ho leshot in
mot a one with Newma n in second pl ace on
lap two. The tw O riders were side by side or
just a fender apart for one entire lap, until
Newman made th e p ass on th e inSIde just
before a jump and cruised. two more laps to
win th e mot o.
