Aaro n Campbell pu lled a do ub le-mo te sweep of the large 125cc Interm ediate class. Campbell lead each moto from start to finish wh ile Robb Floth finis hed 2-3 for second . Dave Booth held orr J ohn Sabo to collect the 250cc Int erm ediate class victory, while Bruce Harris ha mm ered out third a head or Rob Johnson. Derric k Person eu e rocked the Over 25 class in a wild battl e with Herb Nach tigall. The two riders diced in both mo te s with Person ette coming out on top. In the £ir st mot o, newly adva nced rider Jaso n Kem pel proved that he will be a factor In the class, as he launched into the early lead and nearly won the moto, He p ulled out a lead in the ear ly going and maintained it for half the race, but Fortune started closin g in a t th at point. Fern looked stro ng but his bike star ted sp uttering la ter in th e race and he was lucky to hol d on ror the win over a closing FOrlun e. Mercill too k third by a short interva l over a baule between Todd Lentz and Kempel. Mike Atk in son took hom e two fllst place trophies in the Mini Senior and Youth classes. [n the first Mini moto he led all the way. building up a con siderable lead in the early go ing. Jam ie Farendholz was all alone in second with Jim Povolny third. Ben Van Oeve and Robb ie McDowell fought over fourth. Farendholz nailed tht start in the seCond molO, but held the lead only bri efly before Atkinson sailed by. Farendholz held on for second with McDowell third over a rapidl y gain ing Povolny. Chad Winecke took both 250cc A wins. Mike Luoma celebrat ed hi s advancement to the A ond class with two good rides, lead in g to seC overal l. J ohn Dullum took adva ntage of Marty J Cla rk's cras hes to wrap up third.
