Allrights reserved, tS 4 I just finished watching the Los Ang eles Supercross (on TV) and I am sick and tired of riders, such as Damon Bradshaw and J eff Matiasevich, purposely running into other riders. Others are also guilty and they know who they are. It 's bad enough out there with all the humps and jumps taking out riders and leaving them with injuries that are sometimes serious. There's no room for riders purposely injuring other riders. These actions are no t permitted in other rnotorsports. There's nothing wrong with wanting to win very badly, bu t pulling off ramming episodes shows how men tally wea k some guys are . The next tim e th ey ge t aggressive tow ard another rider. they should ask Dan ny " Magoo" Cha ndler and David Bailey how easy it is to take care of those medical bills. Go for the win , not th e kill ! Timmie Bowman Taylorsville, NC Go for it! Five members of AMA Distri ct 36 Dave Bertram , Phil Dougl as . T az Harvey, Shawn H ybarger and John May - hav e been selected to represent the United Stat es on the ISDE team. To sho w our su ppo rt and appreciation, the Distri ct 36 Motorcycle Sports Committee has do nated $100 to each rider. We are all proud of our riders and know they are some of the fastest and toughest in the world. Ride to win, gu ys. Warner Warsaw, IN Warner is th e AMA District 15 hare scramb le rejeree. The Hough brothers are Indiana residents . . . Editor. _Oops, sorry ! I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Two Brothers Ra cing for a mistake I made during television coverage of th e Loudon Mo to rcycle Classic curren tly, being aired -o n many cable o utlets nationwide. During co verage of th e Pro Twins race, I said Ray Plumb tuned the Ho nd a Hawk-based machine prepared by Two Bro thers Ra cing and ridden by Kevin Erion. O f course that is not the case, and of course I knew tha t before the taping. Unfortunately. in live to tape situatio ns, announcers some times get an idea in th eir heads and repeat it over and over, true or false. Motorcycle racing does n 't ge t its du e on TV, and when it does, the g uys behind th e microphones should get it right! Apologies go ou t to the Erion brothers and Mike Velasco at Two Bro thers Racing, and Ray Plumb at Commonwealth Honda for the o n-air mix-up. Dennis Torres Taurus Group, Inc.
