As a former professional racer now enjoyin g life by taki ng part in vintage raci ng, th e weekend was a ll I hoped it would be. The SCCA co rne rworkers were excellent, tending to downed rid ers in a j ohnn y-on-th e- spot mann er. The riders I co mpe ted against were apparent ly enjoying themselves as much as I was, a nd th e spectators were su per - stay ing after the pros were fini shed to wa tch us vintage bik e racers do o ur thing. T he spec tators also seemed to full y enjo y look in g a t the vintage bik es in the pits.
