Team Suzuki Wins '89 WERA National Endurance Title.
For the fifth time in the last seven years Team Suzuki waved goodbye and
rode off with the WERANational Endurance Series Championship, reaffirming
its position as the winning-est team in US. endurance history-Team riders Paul
Brayand Mike Smith, backed by Britt Turkington and Wes Cooley; clinched.
this year's title with one race still left in the series. Likewise, Dutchman Racing
captured the AMA/CCS GTO Championship when Dale Quarterly and Mike
Harth locked up the series with three races to go.
Thanks to talent and teamwork, both series were over before the final .
