Furukawa jumped to a n ea rly lead in the Begi n ner Stock class Iinal closely fol lowed by Todd Hessling and Kent R iches. J eff Mendelson moved by Rich es then passed H essl in g to move into second. Mendelson kept the gas o n and severa l la ps la ter passed Furukawa to take the lead. The positions ' stayed the same to the finish with Mendelson first. Furukawa second and Hess ling th ird . With poi nts from the heats carr ied to th e final , th e overall win went to Furukawa. Hessling look second a nd Lee McCollum moved in to th ird a fter Mendelson's bike wa s found ill egal in the required teardown. Jimm y Ad ams.
