Honda-mounted 'Kev in Foley (39) styled to the Junior (25 -Plus) class by winning all three motos. Second place went to KTM rider Steve Stith . Yamaha-mounted Steve Lamson won the 125cc A Modified class and settled for a second-place finish in the 250cc Modified division . ~ Billy Fosnock celebrates his win in the 250cc A Stock class. Chris Considine, a top-not ch 65cc rider, as well as the defendi ng 51cc cha mp, went up again st as ma ny parents as he did fellow Pee Wee . riders. The 3-2-2 of Dustin Allman was good for second with Mich ael Ka nn lacin thi rd. T he toast 01 B class raci ng at Loretta Lynn 's was Team Green's Si lvarole. Silvarole topped th e 250cc B Mod ified class wi th a perfect I-I I score. Ryan Carlisle gave Si lvarole the most chase a nd accounted fo r second overall with a 4-3-7 tally. H onda-mo unted Co by Robb rode to third with a 6-8-6 sho wi ng in th e d ivision. Si lvarol e's 125cc B Stock was not th e same runaway. He used co ns istency to p ick up th e titl e, bettering KX l 25 rid er Derek Natvig's 8-1-3 wi th a steady 3-2-2 of his own. Kawasak i rid ers T omm y Clow ers and J oel Albrech t each won a moto but cou ld not gather th ree good fini shes to co n tend for th e ti tle. Texan J ason Krempin used a 2-5-7 to snea k u p int o third overa ll. Natvig wo uld return to get his d ue i n th e 125cc B Modifi ed fin al , putting toge the r a winning to ta l of 1-1-3. Clo wers was next with twos . all ' th e way across the board , while Albrech t went 3-3-4 for thi rd. Texan J ason Edwa rds fin ish ed stro ng a nd wo n the final rn o to but co uld on ly muster fourth in th e final sta nd ings . Carl isle also got a shot at the top in the 250cc B Stock class . He swept up the competition wi th a trio of wins. earning a trip to J a pan fro m Yokohama in the process. Michi gan 's Brya n Weiler was second with a pair of seconds a nd a fina l third. whi le Kawasa ki rider Trey Clingfrost capt ured th ird. The O pen BI C win ner was H onda rid er Dean Bak er. H e p os ted a consistent 2-2-4 tall y for the class ti tle a head of Yama ha rid er Du stin Evans' 8-1-1. David Mitch ell scored th ird wit h a 1-7·2 score. Eddi Smi ley won th e 250cc C Stock Ch ampionship af ter hea t two leader Sha ne West faltered in the third moto. J ay Rassa fo l low ed Sm i ley 's 4-2-3 a n d Washington 's West (2-1-6) with a 63- I of hi s o wn : In th e Mod ified class it was Ray Mci nt osh leading th e way wi th a 3-3-1 show ing. Kevin Kuhn ra ced his Kawasaki to second wi th a 1-5-2 a hea d of J ason Everha rt. In the hi ghl y co mpeti tive 125cc C classes West recovered fro m h is 250cc C slip to ta ke Mod ified ho nors with a 2-2-3 ride. YZ 125 ri de r T rey McCart y appeared to have th e title in hand head ing into the mo to bu t suffered four falls in heat three to go 1-1 -10 forthird. Gary Sq uiersplit the difference betw een the two with a 3-5-2 ride. Ano th er tough rider to win was Ch ad Brown. The Kaw asak i rider battled Scott Run yan , th e first rno to winner in th e 250cc C Stock class, into the fin al heat a nd ca ptured th e ti t le wi t h th e last -l eg w in. Su zu ki- mo u n ted Sq u ie r put in a no the r fin e pe rformance for thi rd overa ll (9-3-4). Per h a p s t he m ost co n vi nci n g cha mpio n of them all was Wo men 's class winner Mercedes Gonzalez of California. The current q ueen of th e co urse oblitera ted the co m pe titio n in T ennessee, wi th three so lid win s. Suzuki-mou nted Carla Nelso n was next wit h three threes, whil e Cynth ia Co le placed third with a 4-4-2 effort. In the process of winning her third ti tle, Gonzalez, 26, also p ut in a spiri ted Junior cla ss ride to p lace 11th wit ha 9-11-1 3 rid e.
