The second mota proved quile exci ling as
T yson Vohland shot illlo th e ea rly lead with
Ro n Alle n , who was second 250cc Pro in the
opening ro u nd , fo llow in g. Tallo n Voh la nd
moved h is 125 up to th ird and began challen gin g Allen. wh ile Tyson opened u p a lead.
T he Allenrrallon duel was fast-paced and
they closed in on Tyson. But at th e checkered
Tyson arrived first for the 250cc Pro ove",Il.
wh ile Alle n held 0 (( Tallon for second in the
250s.
Tallon still wo n the 125cc class, while
Suzuki·mou n ted Tom Odek irk finished 3-2
for seco nd ove",11 in the 125cc class. Another
500cc Pro victory gave Conley the ove",11 in
his class with Clay to n Blood second overall.

Speedway as he handily wo n the firs t hea t
race and was in the righ t positio n . wh en early
leaders Rick Smi th a nd Eric La rso n fell , to
win th e 500cc Expert class.
At th e green light. an exce llent start by
Kevin Cr owley o n h is Ro tax set th e ear ly pace.
O n lap two both Larson and Smi th go t h y
and tried to pull away from th e pack , but bo th
misjudged the sli ppery hard o uts ide a nd had
separate spi lls . Nunez. o n a Ro tax , was right
there a nd took th e lead and held it to th e
chec kers . Co mi ng up fast a nd cha lle nging for
the last th ree laps was Daniel McDonnell . the
seco nd hea t race winner. To make it a Ro tax
sweep, th e th ird pl ace fin ish er was Randy
Bererna n wh o had tai led Nunez acro ss th e line

In the Open Expert class Dave Bostro m took
a seco nd III his heat a nd the n br ou gh t h is
Ro tax in for fourth in the lfl-rnan, IO-Iap final.
Dave won the heat and th e final in th e Veteran
class. Quan was a ble to win th e Powder Puff
class a fter losi ng th e heal race.
