lahrt nabbed th e holesho t with Kevin Bussey
a nd Ma rc Peters hot on hi s tail. Bussey
ho unded lahrt and o n the last lap cu t to the
inside in a turn a nd secu red the lead . Bussey
a nd lahrt were foll owed across the finis h lin e
by a distant Peters.
The start of the seco nd moto was a carbon
co py of the first, except tha t Zahrt's ini tia l
lead was mu ch larger. By th e seco nd lap
Bussey had once again reeled in Zahrt 's H on da
and began to appl y pressure. lahn held his
lines, and o n th e th ird lap Bussey went down.
