Oliver, Gray hot at Sears Point RR By Vincent Sttrykers Sequeira soars to SMXwin ~ ; .-L Sequeira drove under Peterson taking the lead. Behind the lead pair, a dice was waged by J ohnson and Garcia. The battle carried them to the rear fender of Peterson with Johnson powering his . way by on the straightaway. Pet erson was going to have no part of this and stuffed Johnson hard in the 180 degree switchback. Sequeira was opening a secure lea d as Johnson once again got by Peterson, only to get stuffed in the very same comer as th e previous lap. There was an even larger gap between Sequeira and the seco nd place rider as Peterson got out of shape and went down hard coming off a jump. J ohnson was now being closed in on by J ay; who had been on the gas the entire moto. Also moving up was Bulley , who wa s following Jay's Suz uki . As th e moto wound down, the heat seemed to a ffect Johnson as he dropped off the pace and was passed by both J ay and Bulley, At th e checkered, Seq ueira took first with Jay, Bulley, Garcia and Peterson making th e top five slo ts.
