Meanwhile in th e 500s Todd Snider led laps two and three until Flynn , Muffley and Steve Dewitt, ona 250, . picked up th e pa ce. By th e six th lap the y had Garbe e's lead do wn to 45 seconds, but' after pit signals Garger turned up the wi ck to lead by over two minutes at th e chec kered flag . Riders were trying to qualify for their regional cham p ionships, wh ich would then g ive them a chance to compete in the Amateur Championsh ips in Hurricane Mills, T ennessee, later in the year. After a first a nd seco nd place finish . on Saturday, Bish and Neibel battled it out again on Sunday. Bish, aboard his Honda, jumped out front first. It was a seesaw battle in which Bish
