Moving up from behind was Honda rider Chad Walters. At th e checkered flag it was Slagle first, Walters se co n d, Chom er third , Matus fourth and Honda-mounted Frankie Ladd in fifth. Moto two saw Wa lt ers take th e lead for th ree lap s then Slagle made his move on Walters to take over the lead on lap four as Ladd h eld on to third the whole ra ce. At th e finish it was Slagle first, Walters second and Ladd third, and it was the same in th e overall for the day.
