PERRIS, CA, FEB. 20 Willy Musgrave put in a pair of impressive motos to win the Pro class today at Perris Raceway. Musgrave put his Tri-City Honda into the lead in the early stages of moto one after passing SCR/JT Racing's Tony Spear. Once past the Suzuki pilot Musgrave immediately began to open up some breathing room while behind him things were . warming up for Spear. Both Ulf Johansson and Japanese rider Hisao . Takeda were closing the gap on Spear, and as the moto came to a close Musgrave took a comfortable win. Second through fourth went to a tightly bunched Spear, Johansson and Takeda, respectively.
