The Women 's Expert 'class sa w a battle between Mindy Smith a nd Tami Rice. Smith got th e holeshot in mota one but slid o u t in the fourth tum , lett in g Rice a nd four o the r riders by. Once up, Smith ca me back and pa ssed riders a t will until sh e was right behind Rice. Time ran out an d Rice wonthe mota and Smith took second wi th Bonnie Warch in iliird. . Smi th got the j u m p again in rnoto TWO but in th e middle of lap one , bobbled and let War ch by. Then Warch stu mb led and Rice took th e lead. Smith wa s back in the lead on lap two .
