It was Lucy's first appearance at th e track since a nea r caree r end ing cras h in J une o f th is year. Varnes opened up some brea th ing room on th e Pen n State Cycl es- Yama h a as Mik e Klopp began lap three by moving around Erving. a nd into th e th ird spot. On lap six Klopp slip ped under Do rsey to nail down seco n d as Varnes took th e chec ker two laps later for the win. Klopp . Dorsey, Er ving a n d Lu cy rounded o u t th e top five. T h e a n n ua l ga the ri ng featured a large flea market with parts. co mp lete m ot orcycles an d m emorabilia offered for sale.
