his second main event of the year,
while Nick Geranio topped the
H andicap show for Delucchi Services and Bay Area Kawasaki.
Eddie Ingels started out the evenings proceedings with a heat win on
the A&A Racing/Quaker State/HiPoin t/Petrich Cycle Special with
Robinson topping the second heat.
Jim Sisemore came from behind to
win the third Handicap heat over
Felicio and Geranio with Jeff Kniss
topping the final heat over Castrol's
Greg Martz.
Geranio went for the throat at the
start of the Handicap main leading,
as the deep yardage traffic cleared
house. Ingels went for the rim ride
but was met by Curry and Parsons
and had to rethink his travels. As the
checkered flew, Geranio had his way
with the boys by over two bike
lengths with Parson secon d over
Curry and Ingels dispatching
Sisemore.
Robinso n set his own stage in
dramatic fashion putting Sisemore
behi nd in the first Scratch heat.
Parsons held Ingels at bay, while
Steve Martin was tops in his heat race
win. Mike Delacy had a terrible
Ha ndicap ride, but went in front for
the final heat win over Curry.
Parsons went in first and drew
number two with Martin next and
garnering third position .Delacy
went for the bucket all smiles and
drew the ou tside and was still
smiling. Robinson didn't say a word
but was ready for the old flag start
and a great win. Delacy had the right
idea with a good (late) start that had
him wide and in first around the
turn, but it didn't last, and . after
dispatch ing Martin, he was gone and
another winner. Martin held on for
second over Parsons as Delacy
sli pped off and out.

WENDOVER, UT, JULY 26
Laird White WOIl the Superbike A
class at the Utah Sport Bike Assocition's Sprint races at Wendover.
White had little difficulty in leaving
traffic behind and getting out ahead
to a big lead.
White rode his GSXR llOO all over
the other entries from beginning to ·
end, and was clocked at 1:06.05 for
a lap record on the 1.4 mile course.
Dave Case ran past Brock Roberts on
lap six, but Roberts repassed for '
second. Monte Rock rode his Quality
MC Parts GSXR750 to Fourth.
In the Superbike B race Marshall
Schoewe lost his front tire and lowsided through the chicane on lap
one. Even without pressure from
Schoewe, Roberts rode as hard as
possible and was first to the checkered flag. Rock and Brad MaIm
scrapped over second for several laps
until R ock put experience and
engine to work on the last lap to
secure second place.
The Superbike C race saw Schoewe
take it and run like a thief. His stock
600 Hurricane was unchallenged
throughout the race, while Tad
Goimarac took an easy second, and
was the only rider on the lead lap.
Chris Gardner scored third.
Mike Kamphius jumped out to an
early lead in the Production Brace
but Schoewe steadily worked his way
up from the rear of the start grid.
Schoewe took over the lead on lap
five and increased his margin on
every lap for the win. Brad' MaIm
powered l?ast Goimarac on the final
la p to claim second place.
