Jim Neese scored runnerup honors in th e Schoolboy division , then returned to sweep the Senior Mini class over Pa trick Slate and Carl Fogl e. Way ne Guin claimed the lead at the start of the first 125cc Schoolboy mo ta with Kennedy a nd Ned Blackwelder nipping at hi s heels. Kennedy storme d past G ui n for the win with Neese dropping Guin to th ird at the fini sh. Mot a two sa w Neese wi th th e ho lesh o t wh ile' Kennedy began his charge from fourth . Kennedy closed in on Nees e and grabbed the lead wit h G ui n watchi ng fro m th ird. T he top three finish order read Ken ned y, Neese and Guin. Todd Marshall jumped into th e lead at th e start of the first 250cc C mota wi th Brad Mill s, Kenned y a nd Brandon William s behind. After a few laps Kennedy had moved past the front runn ers a nd tak en a safe lead wi th Mill s mo ving past Ma rsha ll for seco nd. At the fla t it was Kenned y's win with Mills a nd Ma rsha ll next. Phill ip Wilkerso n and Will iam s rou nded o u t the top five. William s blast ed off the gate in moto two and pu lled o u t to a five second lea d o ver Kennedy whil e Wilkerso n and Lee Martin foug ht over third. Kennedy slow ly reeled in Will iam s a nd surged pas t for his second class win o f the day. Aaron sta rted fOf th e Hough tea m a nd was runnin g fourth, despite missi ng a ma rker on the eig h t-m ilea -la p co urse. After making a spectacu lar first la p, Aaron handed the Hon da over to h is brother, Ku rt. At the end of the second lap, th e Hough team had developed a co m ma nd ing lea d. For the rest of th e three hour race, the two rid ers rode flaw lessly o n the way to virtorv. Back in 'seco nd place was th e team o f A.].
