-led with five points, Diem had four, Wakefield three and Cliff zero. Lazor looked to have the start wired in the third main, but a red flag caused by Wakefield necessitated a restart. On the restart Lazor got a horrible start and Diem was off and running. Cliff put his Robinson Cycle J awa in second and kept Lazor and Wakefield at bay. With one race remaining Diem now had a one point lead on Lazor. !:':azor had to finish ahead of Diem and it looked like he might as he led lap one of the final main event. It was short-lived as Diem moved past on lap two and secured the victory and the championship. Pat Cliff and Dale Wakefield ended the evening lied for third position behind Lazor and Diem. Mitchell ATLANTA, MI, JUNE 28 Alan Randt powered his Lansing Cycle Husqvarna 430 through 80 miles of sturnps·and logs to win the overall by two points over Yamaha YZ25(},.mounted Brian Mull at the Clear Cut Enduro. Many riders, including Randt were seen taking soil samples, since many trail obstacles were hidden by waist high ferns. West Michigan Enduro Riders checked riders both in and out of each section.
