Robertson rem ounted in mid-pa ck, Voh land stayed out front to th e finish as Pa ladino took •second after all th e rid ers in front of him tasted turf. Andris made it back to th ird with Robert so n fo urt h. rI Mota two was tame by co mparison. Pal adin o ha d a good start and once in th e lead stayed there for the win and th e overall. The Bob " H urricane " H annah-design ed track was rough but tacky thanks to thr ee days of light rain before th e race. Money class first mota action had Honda support rider j on McCabe pu lling th e holeshot with T om Currey, Marcus Ped rero , David Kuxhausen foll owing close behind. With McCabe powering for th e lead , it made a str ong battle for second, th ird , and fourth. Pedrero was able to jump past Currey on th e tabl etops. Ku xha usen worked hard to p ass Currey, but Currey was able to hold him o££ to fin ish third. Mo ta two had McCabe pull th e holeshot and he never look ed ba ck. Pedrero, co m fo rtab le in second, made for a tough battle between .. " Iro nman " Kuxhausen and Currey fighting for third p lace. Kuxhausen I shpped down letti ng Currey move int o third. Ironman remounted and . started h is charge to catch Currey. It too k th ree la ps bu t Kuxhausen was ab le to m ove in ·beh ind Currey. P ressu re fro m Kuxhausen forced Currey to go wide on the o££ camber turn letting Kuxha usen move into th e th ird-pl ace mon ey finis h . Mo ta one of the l 25cc class had Bill y Duncan jump to a fast lead. j e££ Warrington , Ri ch ard Manion, Geo££ Page and Chris Mall oy all banged handl ebar s try ing to catch Duncan. Page moved past Manion a n d sta r ted to set h is sigh ts o n Wa rrington . With Warr ington working on Duncan, he didn ' t realize th e strong charge of Page. Page was able to pass both of th em on o ne move. .Warrington worked h is way past Duncan on the last lap. Mo to two had Mall o y pull th e hol eshot on ly to sli p do wn tak ing o u t four or five riders incl uding firs t mo to win ner Page. Warrington, now in th e lead , rode to a stro ng mo to two win. Page r emoun ted and charged through th e pack to finish third. The final resu lts ended with .
