Wmning a race as tough as Baja can be tough enough even for a combat veteran like Larry Roeseler (6 wins in 12 years) . But when both your co-rider and your team are going for it for the first time, the odds against you are monumental. . Unless, of course, you're riding for Team Green. Roeseler and co-rider Ted Hunnicutt,Jr. hammered their KX500 (and the competition) right up to the finish of the grueling 500 mile event before pulling out first overall and first in class for the green machine.
