Moto two found Kawasaki of . Anchorage-sponsored Jim McClain in . the lead with Schaub in second. Good got a bad start, but in a few laps he had edged his way up to fourth right behind Crabb. It didn't take long for Good to displace Crabb and Schaub. After many laps of dogging McClain, Good slipped by for first and the win. Crabb crashed again in this moto, leaving McClain with second and Schaub in third. Crabb had better luck in the 250cc Expert, trading moto wins with Schaub. R it chie powered his Yamaha to th e win ahead of Lynn George. Twelve riders lined up for th e Open Junior final and it was Gary Vincelet jumping out to th e early lead. Vincelet's lead was short-lived, as Anthony Giammarico slid past on lap three. Giammanco's lead was also short, as he DNF with mechanical problems. RItchie inherited the lead . and fought off George for the remaining five laps to claim th e top spot. George and Steve Stewart rounded out the top thre e spots at th e flag . Hi-Point/ Arai-sponsored Vohland used his KX250 to top both Pro motos in stylish fashion. Kawasaki-mounted Ron Allen pulled th e holeshot in the firs t mota, but Voh land was soon into the lead , where he stayed for the win. Allen held on for second ahead of hardcharging Honda rider Scott McElroy and a gate-jumping Shawn Wooten. also on a Honda.
