Good , fresh from last Sunday's win , was the da y's favor ite. Moto o ne of th e P ro class saw Kawasaki of Anc horage-sponso red J im McClain jet into the lead with Good stuck in m id pack. McCl ain's teammates Pat Crabb a n d Donn y R u ssell soo n wo rked th eir way u p to second a nd third . By th e hal fwa y mark Good fo u nd h i m self in fo urth. Good g nawed away until, with two laps to go, he passed all three riders for the lead. R ussell crashed soon afterwards, giving up fourth to J ason Anderson , who was also on a Ka wasa ki of Anchorag e Kawasaki. The moto two start saw a large pileup in th e first co rner tak e out half th e field. A restart was ca lled a nd a no ther pileup resu lted, but th ere was no black flag th is time. Good found h imself in front with Crabb glued to hi s rea r fender. Good appeared to have th e win wra pped u p when a cras h bent hi s brake lever ca us ing hi m to pu ll over. . Crabb used hi s 3-2 for second overa ll. Ch at tert on fell with a few laps to go and pl aced o ut ' of the top 10. The 125cc Expe rt class first mo to saw Good p u ll the holeshot, but a bad endo put him back in the pack, lea ving Anderson wi th th e lea d. G ood managed to fin ish second beh ind winner Anderson. T he second mo to was all Good's as the 1986 AMRA 125cc Expert Cham p ion sai led to a n easy win.
