More than 250 riders participated in the stadium event on the john Savitski Stadium Dirt Designs track that was prepared for the Pro Supercross Championship that evening. We always need more competition. " Alan Crum sat on the line kicking over his bike and watched Mann lead Kraig Constantino at the start of the 250cc A main, while Constantino lost ground battling the whoops. Mann also fought the whoops but had built up a big enough lead, that was not to be threatened. Constantino closed a bit when Marm carne down hard 0(( a jump and was forced to battle the rough spots once again, Meanwhile, Crum passed Brent Cole and reeled in Constantino, The two rode the last lap side-by-side until Crum found the better line and charged ahead of Constantino to claim second. Crum's VPE Honda-prepared bike dominated the heat then came back to sweep the main in the +25 class ahead of Rusty Sayers and Thomas . Stevenson. john Hollingsworth worked his way up in both motos to finish fourth ahead of Larry Hill. Crum said, "Sayers passed me once, but I got back into the lead in the whoops and didn't look back. My bike just doesn't quit." Ricky Carmichael put it out fronl at the start of the 65cc main but was soon passed up by Allen. Allen cruised out front with Kenny Yoho following, but Yoho went down. He was able to pick his 'way back up to finish third behind Matt Harrell. Ezra Lusk'battled Chris Brown to take the lead at the stan of the 85cc (10-13) heat with Bullard and Timmy Ferry following, but Ferry went down. He made his way up through the pack to regain hlS fourth-place position by the final lap. Lusk cruised ahead of Brown and Bullard to claim the win. Bryan List shot into the lead at the start of the 85cc (10-13) class but was soon passed by Bullard. Brown crashed coming 0(( the line taking Lusk out with him. Ferry moved up behind the leader, then Lusk picked 0(( riders one by one to finish fifth ahead of Todd Rosseau. Edward Ray held the fourth-place position. "Brown flipped in front of me," said Lusk. "I tried to miss him but I hit his back tire and it took me out."
