CA (213) 92>5097 SANFORD, NC, MAR. 29 Stacey Barnett won the second Senior Mini class mota at DeviJ's Ridge MX to lock up tbe overall win, while Patrick Slate put on a second mota charge to notch second overall ahead of Jim Neese. The first Senior Mini division moto belonged to Slate witb a flawless ride followed by Barnett and Neese. The boleshot in mota two went to Chad Lough with Barnett, Carl Fogle ano Neese in tow. Lough took a hard spill and dropped to 15th while Barnett went on to pick up the lead and win over Fogle. Slate sliced through the pack and was inches behind Neese at the flag. Barnett's 1-2 score earned him the overall victory ahead of Slate and eese, with Fogle and Tracey Barnett rounding out the top five. Zac Bradshaw dominated the Pee Wee and Junior Mini classe , winning both motos in each class. Danny Rich was second overall in the Pee Wees while Patrick Greer edged Rich for second in the Junior Mini class. Greg Erwin looked strong in the 125cc C class, posting wins in both motos with Scott Riggs using a 32 finish for second overall. Eric Powell, Billy Reel and Wayne Guin filled out the top five spots. Kevin Walker was unstoppable in the 125cc B class as he blazed to a I-I finish over Bobby Houser while BTad Proctor edged out Lee Williford for the third overall position. Lonnie Taylor was fifth. Keith Williams cruised to the victory in tbe first Senior class moto, but it was Twin City Kawasaki's Jeff Carter who landed the overall by virtue of his second mota victory. Williams was next followed by Steve Genter and Doug Hightower. Pro cia s action saw Timmy Barnes taking the [irsl moto win over Brian Mc eill and Glenn Addari while David McGuyt and Kirk Johnson filled out the top five. The second mota looked like a free-for-all as a crash by Barnes on the opening lap left him at the tail end of a freight train headed by Johnson and Steve Simons. For the next five laps, Johnson led while tbe pack shuffled behind. Johnson and Barnes moved up in the lead as McNeill tagged along and Addair pushed in third. Mader edged Senior 40-Plus class rider Tom Davis by 30 feet after two bours of racin~, takin~ the overall. A tough dispute over second 250cc went on throughout the race with Tim Coen eventually pulling away from the fight and takin~ the number two position.
