By Darren Conroy
PEARSONVILLE, CA, MAR. 15
Orange County Cycles-sponsored Ken Faught rode to a
narrow win over South African

500cc Pro class at Pearson ville
arenacross. Although Faught didn't
lead every inch of the way, he did
c~llect a 1-1 tally to wrap up the class
WIn.
Australian Ian Roe and his Yamaha mount, captured the victory in
the Open Novice class, beating local
riders Don Connolly and Danny
Reider. Leonard Kilman had a shot
at a lOp finish after jumping to a
good start in the second moto. But
a bent front disc kept him out of
contention.
In the 250Cc Pro class, Suzukimounted Tim Winslow captured the
class victory after dicing with Glen
Tantum and Jeff Black. Winslow
had a midpack start while Tantum
was found out front. But with three
laps to go, Winslow had found the
hot line around Tantum and took
over the lead for good.

by Singletary. After taking over the
lead during the third lap, Singletary
went on to take the win ahead of
Nichols and Palenske. Nichols' 1-2
tally, however, was good enough to
beat Singletary's ll-l combo for the
overall.
