Bright red and white, this cap fits all sizes. In the season opener, Robbie Taylor proved that hisYamaha ride this year has so far been good for his riding style. Taylor had no trouble getting around Riverside Speedway's MX circuit as he topped the 125 and 250cc Pro ranks. Tommy Cowan thrashed the rest of the flat trackers on his Honda, but had a hard-charging Tom Sisson right behind him, waiting for the. first opening. Richard Shipley and George Galloway were a very close third and fourth. Several racers made changes in their rides wi th the new season; probably the most radical departure was Eric Burrell's. Burrell was on a 250cc Honda as a result of the theft of his Suzuki RMl25 from his own workshop. The Honda seemed to suit Burren, however, as he took a close second to Phillip Caldwell in the 250cc Amateur qualifier, and then went on to win the main. Tilden Styron looked fast in the Mini divisions. Styron took the Junior Mini class without a fight, and also won the Senior Minis. In the Senior Mini main, David Canrren and-Steve Burdette were challt~nging Styron and David Pena was right behind the pack. tyron held on for the win, while Cantrell took second. Burdette was third, but fell late in the race, moving Pena up a Spot. Results SUPER 50: 1. Jonathan Sentell (Yam): 2. Bryan Head (Han); 3. Shane Brandwood (Suz). PEE WEE: ,. Jimmy Briggs (Kawl; 2.
