Vlack and McClintock, who passed Durbin on the final lap. The first l25cc Jr. Division Two mota saw Mark Easley quickly move inlO the lead, while Doug Huston, Mark Crumb, Ricky Lutz and Jim 'Kuntz followed in lOw. Easley held on to his lead for four Japs before gelling passed by Huston. HuslOn motored to the outside of a turn, taking over the lead and setting a pace that couldn't be matched. Huston wen t on to take the malO wi n followed by Easly and Crumb. When the gate dropped for the start of the second maio, many riders got trapped in the backwards falling gate forcing a restart. On the restart, Easley took the early lead ahead of Crumb, Eddie Reed, Jon James and Stan Hase. For the remainder of lhe race, il was a follow-the-leader chase right down lo the finish with lillie passing.
