James Prasifka took the holeshot in the first moto with Willie Phee, Billy Whitley, and Darryl Willis in close formation behind. Soon Prasifka opened up a small lead, Whitley got around Phee and Dave Shade had moved up on Phee. Shade wa on the gas, passing Phee, then Whitley halfway through the moto. Prasifka held off a charging Shade at the finish by a narrow margin. Whitley came in third after crashing. Whitley came off the line first in the second mota, this time it was Jay Riveria, Phee and Willi in behind, Prasifka and Shade were la t and next to last. Whitley quickly opened up a small lead and Phee moved into third. Whitley continued to ride smooth and stretched out his lead; Shade moved into second over Phee. Whit-· ley's lead was shortened a little by hade, but not enough to challenge for the lead. Whitley cruised across the fini h line in first ahead of Shade and Phee. Results MINI MINI: 1.
